Using ARCA

How to use ARCA

A simple setup guide for charging, placing the pads, starting a session and looking after the pads between uses.

Quick start

1

Charge the device

Charge ARCA before first use using the supplied charging cable. If the device does not start, recharge it before troubleshooting anything else.

2

Prepare your skin and place the pads

Apply the pads to clean, completely dry skin over a suitable muscular area. Follow the placement guide supplied with ARCA and avoid restricted areas listed in the safety information.

3

Start low and adjust

Turn ARCA on, choose a treatment mode and begin at a low intensity. Increase gradually until the sensation feels strong but comfortable. It should not hurt.

4

Finish and store the pads

ARCA sessions run for 15 minutes. After use, remove the pads carefully, replace the protective film and store them flat so the adhesive stays usable for longer.

Placement matters.

Do not place pads on the head, front or sides of the neck, chest, broken or irritated skin, or other restricted areas. Read the full safety guidance before first use.

Looking after your pads

Clean, dry skin

Lotions, oils and moisture reduce adhesion. Apply the pads only when the skin is clean and dry.

Protect the gel surface

Put the protective film back on after each use and keep the adhesive surface free from dust and fibres.

Replace when needed

Pad life varies with skin preparation, storage and frequency of use. Replace them when adhesion or contact noticeably declines.

Common troubleshooting

No sensation

Check that the device is charged, the pad is making full contact with clean dry skin, and the intensity has been increased from its lowest setting.

Pad keeps lifting

Remove lotion or moisture from the skin, press the pad down firmly and check whether the adhesive surface needs replacing.

Still not working?
